Actions Speak Louder Than Words

Actions speak louder than words

It’s one of the oldest sayings in the book. We have all heard it or have said it one time or another in our lives. So if we are so quick to throw out that particular saying at people then we must abide to that rule of life ourselves?

With this saying there really is no way for someone to prove you wrong on your opinions of their actions. They can always talk, but words have no value. It’s the actions that clearly defines someone true feelings or true being.

If I hear one more time from someone that I am assuming things, that I am judging someone, or that I think I am psychic I swear I am going to rip out my hair. I only say what I feel and if I feel something about a certain situation it is most likely because the person I am referencing at the time is being a shady bitch.

Here are just some examples of when one may experience this in everyday life;

1- You go on a date with a guy. Everything goes great. He seems very into you, and you both agree to see each other again. A few weeks go by and the guy doesn’t call. So instead of giving into him and looking needy you move one. As soon as you move on he will call you. He will say that he was busy, that he really is into you, that he has thought about you for the last few weeks. Whatever, you know better. His actions spoke louder than words. He’s not into you. If he was he would have called, texted, emailed and what have you. I don’t think that I need to repeat the entire “he’s just not that into you’ story line, but what that book failed to teach everyone is just that ‘actions speak louder than words’

If someone says that their days are so busy to the point where they can’t talk on the phone for five minutes, it’s a lie. They just don’t want to talk to you. But will they ever come out and say it? Of course not. People always try to avoid drama in a way that is so wrong it inevitably causes even more drama then if they were to have told the truth in the first place.

2 – Then you have a certain ‘floozy’ who will deny being a slut. Guy or girl it works the same way. How can one deny being promiscuous, yet have a different partner nightly, weekly, or whatever? Of course you are a slut. You are acting out in ways that speaks louder than words. If someone calls you a slut, don’t validate yourself by screaming ‘you’re just too judgmental.”

A fact is a fact, not an assumption or judgment. When one uses the words ‘judgmental’ or ‘assumption’ it is almost as if those words defend the actions by making the other person look like a head case.

3 - Then you have the ones that you call your ‘friends.’ You call them to make plans, and they constantly blow you off. Excuse after excuse, (if you believe that bull s*** then you are in serious denial). You eventually make plans with he or she only to have them back out at last minute. A person is only going to get frustrated and ask this said ‘friend’ what is going on? Of course the way to get out of the blame, your ‘friend’ will most likely get all defensive, and push blame at you. Making up some off-the-wall story to make himself or herself the victim of the situation. But you know better! Their actions spoke louder than their words. So you know deep down inside that you are correct and they have a screw loose.

So just remember, watch yourselves. And use this said explanation of wisdom as a way to weed out the weak from your lives.

Love, Danny FH
